Brian P. Campbell, Director. Brian P. Campbell is Vice President, General Counsel and Corporate Secretary of Dice Inc. Since joining Dice as its first in-house counsel in January 2000, Mr. Campbell has been responsible for managing the legal affairs of Dice, including intellectual property, mergers, acquisitions, strategic alliances, corporate securities, real estate, litigation and employment law, as well as supervising outside counsel. Mr. Campbell also oversees the Company's privacy initiatives.
Mr. Campbell has fifteen years of general corporate legal experience. He joined Dice after five years at CMP Media Inc., a print and online publisher of newspapers and magazines about high technology. At CMP, Mr. Campbell was a member of the Company's executive committee and served as Vice President, General Counsel and Corporate Secretary. He also directed all legal affairs of the company and of its affiliated publishing and tradeshow company, Miller Freeman, Inc. Prior to joining CMP, Mr. Campbell spent seven years as a Corporate Associate at the Wall Street law firm of Mudge, Rose, Guthrie, Alexander & Ferdon.
Mr. Campbell has participated in a number of panels and spoken on legal-related topics affecting the Internet and technology industries, including serving as a faculty member for the Practicing Law Institutes program on Representing the New Media Company. Mr. Campbell serves on the Technology Committee of the American Corporate Counsel Association and is a member of the American Society of Corporate Secretaries, the American Corporate Counsel Association and the American Bar Association.
Mr. Campbell earned a J.D. from St. John's University School of Law in 1988 and a B.A. from the University of Virginia in 1985.
