Background:
The Tint Shop was born in 1993 when founder, Jay Bernunzio, started the business in a one-car garage with a serious passion for making vehicles look better in Rochester, NY. The “one-car garage” business quickly grew into a real company with a real storefront location. By 1998 it became one of the area’s leading providers of automotive tint. Since then The Tint Shop has expanded multiple times and has also become an industry leader by pioneering new tinting and protection solutions that now range from residential and commercial to auto and marine. Its capacity has increased, its technology is state-of-the-art, its operation is entirely QualityFirst, and its customer satisfaction scores near perfect each and every year.
Yet, their web presence had fallen well behind its business expansion and had become a liability in The Tint Shop’s ability to expand its market segments, as well as to seize new online revenue opportunities. In addition, the previous site shown here, was not user-friendly making navigation and content selection extremely difficult.
